Spinach Quiche

This is an amazing Quiche. I use to make it for my daughter, at least, once a week. The way to get her to eat spinach. It is richer than most quiches and just delicious.
You can make your own crust, or buy the refrigerated ones from the supermarket. Either way, it is great.
Spinach Quiche


Pie Shell

Make your own or use store bought.


  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded (you can do cheddar and Swiss also.)
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 4 eggs, beaten enough to mix
  • 1/2 package frozen spinach or equivalent fresh.
  • Cooked bacon (amount varies according to taste) (optional)
  • pink of salt, cayenne pepper, nutmeg

You can make this quiche with cooked broccoli, bacon, ham, Canadian bacon. Add whatever you like.

Note: It is a good idea to cover the edges with aluminum foil to prevent them from burning. After 30 minutes, remove foil and continue baking.


Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 2

Combine cheese, and spices.

Step 3

Cook spinach. Drain well so it doesn’t make a soggy quiche. Arrange in pie crust with cheese.


Step 4

Combine half and half and eggs. Add nutmeg, salt and peper.

Step 5

Pour batter over cheese and spinach.

Step 6

Bake for 45-55 minutes.


Step 7

Cool for about 5 minutes.

Bake. When you take it out of the oven, let the Quiche cool for about 5 minutes. It will harden more as it cools.
